Manage logs for the Aurora Protect Desktop agent

The log files of the Aurora Protect Desktop agent provide useful information for troubleshooting issues. When troubleshooting, enable verbose logging and reproduce the issue to capture relevant information in the log file. Verbose logging creates a larger log file, so it should be used for troubleshooting purposes only. Agent log files are retained for 30 days in the management console.
  1. In the management console, on the menu bar, click Assets > Devices.
  2. Click a device.
  3. Do any of the following:
    • If you want to change the log level, in the Agent Logging Level drop-down list, click the log level.

If you change the log level to verbose, see Enable verbose logging on an Aurora Protect Desktop device.

    • To obtain the Aurora Protect Desktop agent log file, under Threats & Activities, on the Agent Logs tab, click Upload Current Log File. This option is available only if the device is online.
