Enable verbose logging on Windows devices

Enable verbose logging when troubleshooting issues with the Aurora Protect agent or if Arctic Wolf support requests it.

Use verbose logging for troubleshooting only, as it creates a larger log file. The Aurora Endpoint Security console retains agent log files for 30 days.

  1. Sign in to the Aurora Endpoint Security console.
  2. Click Assets > Devices.
  3. Click a Windows device.
  4. In the Agent Logging Level menu, change the log level to Verbose.
  5. On your desktop, right-click the Aurora Protect agent icon in the system tray and click Exit.
  6. Open the command line as an administrator.
  7. Run this command:
    CMD
    cd C:\Program Files\Cylance\Desktop
  8. Run this command:
    CMD
    CylanceUI.exe -a
  9. Right-click the agent icon in the system tray and click Logging > All.
