Install the Gateway Connector to a Hyper-V environment
Make sure you have permissions to deploy the VHD file and create a connector image.
- Download the Gateway Connector VHD file from the Arctic Wolf Unified Portal.
- Sign in to the Arctic Wolf Unified Portal.
- In the navigation menu, click .
- In the Aurora Endpoint Software Downloads section, in the Product field, select CylanceGATEWAY.
- Find and download the CylanceGATEWAY Connector 2.10.0.938 - Hyper-V file.
- Run the Hyper-V Manager as an administrator.
- In the Hyper-V Manager menu, click Action > New > Virtual Machine. Click Next.
- On the Specify Name and Location screen, specify a name for the VM. Click Next.
- On the Specify Generation screen, select Generation 1. Click Next.
- On the Assign Memory screen, click Next.
- On the Configure Networking screen, select the appropriate connection. Click Next.
- On the Connect Virtual Hard Disk screen, select Use an existing virtual hard disk.
- Navigate to the cylance-gateway-connector-dynamics-<version>.vhd file that you downloaded in step 1.
- On the Assign memory screen, make sure that the connector has a minimum of 5 GB of memory. Click Next.
- On the Completing the New Virtual Machine Wizard screen, review the configuration settings and click Finish.
- Start the connector.
