You can search for devices using a simple text search or a field-based advanced search.
The simple search filters results based on the device name, DNS, IP address, MAC address, and last reported user fields. Saved searches marked with an asterisk can be applied as zone rules.
- Sign in to the Aurora Endpoint Security console.
- Click .
- To perform a simple search, enter text in the empty search bar.
Note: The simple search uses the Text field and cannot be combined with other field filters. To use other field filters, use the advanced search.
- To perform an advanced search:
- Click the search bar.
- Select a field and comparison operator.
- Enter a value for the field.
Tip:

Values are comma-separated. For example, Platform ~ macOS, Windows.

To enter a value with multiple words, wrap the string with quotation marks. For example, "Windows 11" or "IP Addresses" = 192.168.1.100, 192.168.1.101, 192.168.1.102.

To search for a range of IP addresses, enter the two IP addresses to search between. To add multiple IP address ranges, click
to add another range.
- To add another expression, use a Boolean operator.
Note:
When you select a Boolean operator, all subsequent Boolean operators in the query must be the same. For example, A=B and C=D and E~F is supported, as is A=B or C=D or E~F. However, A=B and C=D or E~F is not supported.
- Click Search.
