Gateway agent settings
You can configure settings for the Gateway agent. Setting names may appear differently depending on the device OS.

Deactivate |
Click this button to deactivate the Gateway agent. When the agent is deactivated, it can't receive policy updates from Gateway. |

Report a Problem |
Click this button to send a problem report and the agent log files to Arctic Wolf. For troubleshooting assistance, contact your IT administrator before you report a problem to Arctic Wolf. |

Use TCP |
Select this option to use TCP for connections to Gateway if your organization's firewall doesn't allow UDP connections. |

Launch Gateway automatically when I sign in to this computer |
Select this option to start the Gateway agent whenever you log in to your Windows or macOS device. If your administrator has applied the policy "Start Gateway when I sign in", it overrides your agent setting, but you can still manually stop the agent. |

Enable Work Mode automatically when Gateway lanches |
Select this option to enable work mode whenever the Gateway agent starts. If your administrator has applied the policy "Enable Work Mode Automatically" after the agent starts, it overrides your agent setting, but you can manually enable or disable Work Mode. |
If your administrator has applied a policy to both "Start Gateway when I sign in" and "Enable Work Mode Automatically", the policy overrides your agent settings, but you can still manually enable or disable Work Mode after the agent starts or stop the agent.
