Reschedule a scanner upgrade

You can reschedule an appliance upgrade to the time that works best for you.

Appliances can take up to six hours to upgrade. When the appliance updates, there may be interruptions in connectivity. We recommend upgrading the appliance when there will be low activity in your environment.

Note:

If the upgrade is scheduled to happen within the next 15 minutes, you can no longer reschedule the upgrade.

These resources are required:

  • The Activate Virtual Appliances permission in the Arctic Wolf Unified Portal
    Note: For more information, see Add a contact.
  1. Sign in to the Arctic Wolf Unified Portal.
  2. In the navigation menu, click Data Collection > Scanners.
  3. Optional: In the Upgrade Status field, select Pending to filter for appliances that have an upgrade pending.
  4. Select the appliances that you want to schedule an upgrade for.
  5. Click Reschedule Upgrade.
    Note: If a appliance cannot be upgraded or an upgrade cannot be rescheduled, the Reschedule Upgrade button is grayed out.
  6. In the Requested Date and Time (Local) field, select the date and time that you would like to schedule the upgrade and then click OK.
    Note: You can select a date up to 30 days from the originally scheduled date.
  7. Click Submit.
  8. Click Reschedule Eligible Upgrades.
