Manage incomplete session reminders

Note:

This information applies to incomplete Arctic Wolf Managed Security Awareness® (MA) session management. If you have a Compliance Content Pack (CCP) license, you can manage reminders for incomplete compliance training courses. See Manage incomplete compliance training course reminders for more information.

Tip:

If you do not want users to receive User Status Report emails, click the Enable User Status Reports toggle to the off position. See Enable or disable User Status Report emails for more information.

By default, User Status Report emails are sent to users on the first of each month. You can adjust the frequency and the urgency language of these emails. The settings can be configured differently, based on how many incomplete sessions a user has. For example, you can configure a monthly reminder for users who have a low number of incomplete sessions, and a daily reminder for users who have a high number of incomplete sessions.

  1. Sign in to the MA Portal.
  2. In the menu bar, click Administration Dashboard.
  3. Click the Incomplete Session Manager tab.

    The table includes these rows:

    • Incomplete Sessions — A static number that indicates the number of incomplete sessions. This is not configurable.
    • Number of Users — The number of users with incomplete sessions for each Incomplete Sessions category. As users complete their assigned sessions, these numbers automatically update.
    • Frequency of Email — Sets how often incomplete emails are sent to users. The configuration directly relates to the number of incomplete sessions.
    • Urgency of Email — Sets the email urgency. For example, if your user has 0 incomplete sessions, you can set the urgency to low, but if the user has 5+ incomplete sessions, you can set the urgency to High.
  4. In the Urgency of Email row, for each applicable column, select one of these list options:
    • Low
    • Moderate
    • High
    Tip:

Click the User Status Report - Low , User Status Report - Moderate, or User Status Report - High tab to preview the email that is sent depending on the Urgency of Email setting.

  5. For each applicable column, select one of these Frequency of Email options:
    • Monthly (1st)
    • Bi-Monthly (1st, 15th)
    • Weekly (Monday)
    • Daily
  6. Optional: Download a CSV file with a list of users with incomplete awareness sessions:
    1. In the Number of Users row, locate the column with the number of incomplete awareness sessions you would like the CSV file for.
    2. Click the number to download the CSV file. The file includes:
