Getting started with your MA program launch
After you complete the Initial setup of Managed Security Awareness and your Managed Security Awareness® (MA) program is activated on the selected launch date:
- Users receive the QuickStart session on launch day. This session introduces the user to the MA program, and informs them of what to expect.
Note: If a new user is added after launch, The QuickStart session is sent instead of the regularly scheduled awareness session or quiz, or on a no-session week based on the session delivery day.
- When enabled, users receive awareness sessions approximately every two weeks on the configured session delivery day.
- When enabled, users receive a monthly phishing simulation email.
- The MA Portal records the progress and performance of all users for all security awareness and compliance training content that the user receives.
These are some settings that you might want to adjust after the MA program launch:
- Change the session delivery day
- Enable or disable automatic session delivery
- Enable or Disable Manager Status Report Emails
- Customize MA emails using private labeling
- Enable or disable phishing simulation emails
- Change the phishing simulation email template
- Manage incomplete session reminders
- Enable or disable TruClick user detection
If you are an MA+ customer, you can also:
- Select a security awareness track
- Create a custom schedule for awareness sessions
- Create a custom schedule for phishing simulations
