Configure browsers to autoplay MA sessions

Your users should configure their browsers to automatically play video content to make sure Arctic Wolf Managed Security Awareness® (MA) sessions automatically play in a browser.

Note:

Google Chrome® has autoplay turned on by default.

These actions are required:

Based on your operating system and browser, do one of these actions:

Configure Firefox to autoplay MA sessions in macOS

  1. On your macOS device, open Firefox.
  2. In a new browser tab, click Firefox > Preferences.
  3. In the navigation menu, click Privacy & Security.
  4. In the Permissions section, in the Autoplay row, click Settings.
  5. In the Default for all websites list, select Allow Audio and Video.
  6. Click Save Changes.

Configure Microsoft Edge to autoplay MA sessions in macOS

  1. On your macOS device, open Microsoft Edge.
  2. In a new browser tab, click Microsoft Edge > Preferences.
  3. In the navigation menu, click Cookies and Site Permissions.
  4. Click Media Autoplay.
  5. In the list, select Allow.

Configure Safari to autoplay MA sessions in macOS

  1. On your macOS device, open Safari.
  2. In a new browser tab, open a Managed Security Awareness® (MA) session.
  3. On the Apple menu bar, click Safari > Settings for this website.
  4. In the Auto-Play list, select Allow all Auto-Play.

Configure Firefox to autoplay MA sessions in Windows

  1. On your Windows device, open Firefox.
  2. In a new browser tab, click Menu > Settings.
  3. In the navigation menu, click Privacy & Security.
  4. In the Permissions section, in the Autoplay row, click Settings.
  5. In the Default for all websites list, select Allow Audio and Video.
  6. Click Save Changes.
