Slang allows you to quickly create standards-based security automation content without having to read the SCAP specification or learn how to write in Open Vulnerability and Assessment Language (OVAL) or Extensible Configuration Checklist Description Format (XCCDF).

Using the Slang Authoring Toolkit, you can convert your Slang to SCAP that can be run in any standards-compliant assessment engine.

• Integrate with Visual Studio Code (VS Code) to provide content-sensitive Slang authoring help.
• Validate your Slang.
• Test your Slang by scanning devices locally or over the network.
