Install the Aurora Protect Desktop agent for macOS

  • Download the Aurora Protect Desktop installation files from the management console. Click Settings > Deployments. From the Product drop-down list, select CylancePROTECT, and set the target operating system, the agent version, and the file type. Click Download.
  • In the management console, copy the installation token from Settings > Application.
  1. Double-click the Aurora Protect Desktop installation file (.dmg or .pkg) to mount the installer.
  2. Double-click The Cylance icon. from the Aurora Protect Desktop user interface to begin the installation.
  3. Click Continue to verify that the OS and hardware meet the requirements.
  4. Click Continue.
  5. Type the installation token.
  6. Click Continue.
  7. Optionally, change the installation location.
  8. Click Install.
  9. Type your credentials.
  10. Click Install Software.
  11. On the summary screen, click Close.
  12. Click OK > Finish.
  13. If you are installing Aurora Protect Desktop on macOS Catalina, a notification prompts you to allow CylanceUI to display notifications. Click Allow.
