Automatically update the Linux driver
When you upgrade the Linux kernel on a device, make sure that the device is running a driver that supports it. For devices running Aurora Protect Desktop agent 3.1 and later, enable the Auto-Update Linux Driver feature. This allows the agent to automatically update the driver when an updated kernel is detected on the system, as soon as it becomes available. Upgrading to the latest kernel ensures that your device receives the latest OS security updates, while using the latest agent and driver ensures that Aurora Protect keeps it protected.
- In the management console, on the menu bar, go to Settings > Update.
- Click an update rule that you use to manage updates for Linux devices. If you need to create one, see Manage updates for the Aurora Protect Desktop and Aurora Focus agents.
- Expand the Agent section.
- Select the Auto-Update Linux Driver option.
- Click Save.
