Configure the Active Directory (AD) schema to allow device operating system and version attribute information to synchronize to the Global Catalog, so that the Aurora Endpoint Security console console can display this information for unprotected devices.

1. On the AD domain controller, register Schmmgmt.dll and add the schema option to the Microsoft Management Console (MMC):
   1. On the domain controller, click Start > Run.
   2. In the search field, type regsvr32 schmmgmt.dll.
   3. Click OK.
   4. When the operation completes, click OK.
2. Open the MMC:
   1. Click Start > Run.
   2. In the search field, type mmc.exe.
   3. Click OK.
3. In the MMC, add the Active Directory schema snap-in:
   1. In the File menu, click Add/Remove Snap-in.
   2. Click Active Directory Schema.
   3. Click Add.
   4. Click Close and then click OK.
4. For each attribute, complete these steps to synchronize the attribute to the Global Catalog:
   • operatingSystem
   • operatingSystemServicePack
   • operatingSystemVersion
   1. In the left column of the Active Directory schema view, click Attributes.
   2. In the attributes list, search for and click the attribute name.
   3. Select the Replicate this attribute to the Global Catalog checkbox.
   4. Click OK.
