Configure device lifecycle management

Configure the number of days that a device can be offline before the Aurora Endpoint Security console marks it as inactive or removes it.

Note:

By default:

  • Device lifecycle management is enabled.

  • Offline devices are marked as Inactive after 60 days.

  • If you configure the Aurora Endpoint Security console to automatically remove Inactive devices after another specified number of days, the default period for this setting is 60 days.

  1. Sign in to the Aurora Endpoint Security console.
  2. Click Settings > Device Lifecycle.
  3. In the Enable automated device lifecycle management section, in the Days Offline field, specify the number of days that a device must be offline before its status changes to Inactive.

Accepted values include whole numbers from 7 - 180.

  4. Optional: In the Remove inactive devices section, in the Days inactive field, specify the number of days (7 to 180) that a device must be inactive before it is automatically removed from the Aurora Endpoint Security console.

Accepted values include whole numbers from 7 - 180.

    Note:

When a device is removed from the Aurora Endpoint Security console, device data is automatically deleted but the Aurora Protect agent and Aurora Focus agent remain on the device. To manually uninstall these agents, see Setting up Aurora Protect Desktop.

  5. Click Save.
