Customize MA emails using private labeling

You can customize the email sender name and company display name on Managed Security Awareness® (MA) email templates by enabling private labeling within the Administration Dashboard.

By default, the sender of MA emails appear as:

  • Email Sender Name — Arctic Wolf Managed Security Awareness
  • Company Display Name — Arctic Wolf Managed Security Awareness Team

The session emails sent to users include the company display name in the signature of session emails and in the MA Portal page header. The name of the sender displays on the individual emails in an inbox. You can modify the private label in these ways:

Note:
  • The customized name appears in the signature, but you cannot customize the body of the email signature.
  • Private labeling is optional.

Add a private label to an MA email

You can customize the email sender name and company display name on Managed Security Awareness® (MA) emails.

  1. Sign in to the MA Portal.
  2. In the menu bar, click Administration Dashboard.
  3. Click the Email Templates/Private Labeling tab.
  4. Click the Use Private Labeling toggle to the on position.
  5. Edit the Company Display Name and Email Sender Name fields as needed.
  6. Click Update.
  7. Review the email templates to confirm that you want to keep your current settings.

Edit a private label on an MA email

You can edit the email sender name and display name on MA emails.

  1. Sign in to the MA Portal.
  2. In the menu bar, click Administration Dashboard.
  3. Click the Email Templates/Private Labeling tab.
  4. Click the Use Private Labeling toggle to the off position, and then click it to the on position.
  5. Edit the Company Display Name and Email Sender Name fields as needed.
  6. Click Update.
  7. Review the email template settings.

Remove a private label from an MA email

You can remove a custom email sender name and company display name from Arctic Wolf Managed Security Awareness® (MA) emails.

  1. Sign in to the MA Portal.
  2. In the menu bar, click Administration Dashboard.
  3. Click the Email Templates/Private Labeling tab.
  4. Click the Use Private Labeling toggle to the off position.

Add a header or footer to an MA email

You can customize the email header and footer text on Managed Security Awareness® (MA) some sessions.

You can add a custom email header or footer to these emails:
  • QuickStart sessions
  • Awareness sessions
  • User Status Report emails
  • User Compliance Status Report emails
  1. Sign in to the MA Portal.
  2. In the menu bar, click Administration Dashboard.
  3. Click the Email Templates/Private Labeling tab.
  4. Click the Use Private Labeling toggle to the on position.
  5. Edit the Email Header Text and Email Footer Text fields as needed, for example add a disclaimer of company email policies to the footer text.
  6. Click Update.
  7. Review the email templates previewed to confirm that you want to keep your current changes.
