Configure Arctic Wolf authentication

  1. In the first verification email sent by Arctic Wolf, click the URL to confirm your account.

    A web browser opens an email confirmation page.

  2. Close the web browser page after it fully loads.
  3. In the second verification email sent by Arctic Wolf, click the URL to set your password.
  4. Enter a new password.

    You are redirected to the sign-in page, where you can use your newly created credentials.

  5. On a device, install an authenticator application. For example, Google Authenticator.
  6. Use your authenticator application to add an account association.

    For example, if you are using Google Authenticator, complete these steps:

    Steps vary between authenticator applications.

    1. Click + to add a new account association.
    2. Select Scan a QR code.

      The device camera opens and displays a box on the screen.

    3. Position the authenticator device so that the QR code is within the boundary of the box and hold the device still.
      It takes 1-3 seconds for the application to register the QR code. When the QR code is scanned, the application automatically redirects you to the main screen.
      Note:

      If you can't use your camera to scan a QR code, click Can't scan the image on your main device and Enter code manually on your authenticator device.

  7. On your main device, enter the code displayed on the authenticator application.
  8. Click >.
  9. If the code is not accepted, try again. The codes are time-sensitive and expire after 30 seconds.
  10. Copy the one-time use recovery code, and save it in a safe, encrypted location. For example, a password manager.
    Note:

    The code is never visible to Arctic Wolf. We cannot recover the code, but we can generate a new one for you.

  11. Select the I have safely recorded this code checkbox.
  12. Click >.
