Close a ticket

Note: To close tickets that you did not create or that you are not a recipient of, you must have the required permissions. If you require a higher level of access, view your Organization Profile and ask a primary contact.
  1. Sign in to the Arctic Wolf Unified Portal.
  2. In the navigation menu, click Tickets & Alerts > All Tickets.
  3. Find the ticket that you want to respond to.
    Tip: If needed, use filters to limit your results. See Tickets table filters for more information.
  4. Click the Subject or Ticket # of the ticket.

  5. In the Ticket Action section, in the list, select one of these options:
    • Close and manage alert
    • Close with comment
    • Close
    Note:
    • Only primary and secondary contacts can see the Close and manage alert option. If you require this level of access, submit your request to a primary or secondary contact in your organization.
    • The Close and manage alert option only appears for alerts.
  6. If you selected Close and manage alert:
    1. In the Rule Type list, do one of these actions:
      • Select an alert configuration rule to edit.

        For example, Restricted Country User Allowlist is an alert configuration rule that might appear in the Rule Type list.

      • If the alert configuration rule that you want to edit is not list, select Other: Request Alert.
    2. If you selected an alert configuration, use the rule builder to update the alert configuration.

  7. If applicable, in the comment box, enter your request and provide relevant details.
  8. Click Close Ticket.
