Readiness touchpoints
Readiness touchpoints are sessions where Arctic Wolf® Incident Response (IR) representatives help you strengthen your security posture.
The type of readiness touchpoints you can request depends on your retainer. For more information about retainer options, see Incident Response Retainer.
- Tabletop sessions — A customized incident scenario that allows your leadership and security teams to test out your IR Plan and make emergency decisions in a safe environment. The scenario is customized based on interviews with your leaders, data from your IR Plan, and your industry. After the session, the IR team provides feedback and a report on positive observations and opportunities for improvement.
Note: You do not need to complete an IR Plan to complete a tabletop exercise. However, we cannot fully customize the tabletop scenario without certain information. For example, server types and locations, response teams and leadership contacts, and critical systems.
- IR Planner review — A review session where an Arctic Wolf IR team member makes sure that all fields are completed correctly, makes sure that your team has an effective plan, and provides general security recommendations and considerations based on the information reviewed in your plan. For more information, see Incident Response Planner.
- Cyber Resilience Assessment review — A review session where you to go through the results of your Cyber Resilience Assessment with a member of the Arctic Wolf IR team and prioritize key areas of improvement. For more information, see Cyber Resilience Assessment.
If you are a Managed Service Provider (MSP) and you or your customer have the JumpStart Retainer, you can request an MSP touchpoint. An IR representative will walk through the MSP IR Runbook with you. This touchpoint is only conducted with the MSP, even if you have purchased the retainer for one of your customers. For more information, see Incident Response Runbooks.
