You can enable or disable self-scanning. When enabled, self-scanning can identify potential vulnerabilities within the scanner or verify the security posture of the scanner. This helps to make sure the scanner is not a weak point in the overall network security and that it is functioning as intended.

1. Sign in to the Arctic Wolf Unified Portal.
2. In the navigation menu, click Data Collection > Scanners.
3. In the table row of the scanner you want to enable or disable, click View Scanner.
4. In the Scanner Configuration section, do one of these actions:
   • To enable self-scanning, click the Enable Self Scanning toggle to the on position.
   • To disable self-scanning, click the Enable Self Scanning toggle to the off position.
