Refresh Cisco Umbrella credentials

When your Arctic Wolf® API key and secret expire, create a new one and resubmit it to Arctic Wolf.

Create your Cisco Umbrella credentials

  1. Sign in to the Cisco Umbrella dashboard with administrator permissions.
  2. If you are:
    • An MSP customer — On the end-customer Cisco Umbrella configuration page, in the navigation menu, click Console Settings > API Keys.
    • Not an MSP customer — In the navigation menu, click Admin > API Keys.
  3. Click API Keys.
  4. Click the applicable API key.
  5. In the Expiry Date field, select an expiry date that aligns with your needs.
  6. Click Refresh Key.
  7. Click Save.
  8. In the Refresh Key dialog, select the I understand ckeckbox, and then click Refresh Key.
  9. Copy the API Key and Key Secret values, and then save them in a safe, encrypted location.

    You will provide these values to Arctic Wolf later.

    Note:

    The Key Secret value is only displayed one time during API key creation and must be saved at this time.

Update cloud credentials

  1. Sign in to the Arctic Wolf Unified Portal.
  2. In the navigation menu, click Data Collection > Cloud Sensors.
  3. Optional: Filter the list of cloud sensors, as needed.
  4. For the account that you want to update, click View Account.
  5. Click Edit Information.
  6. In the Token and Secret field, clear the Use existing value checkbox.
  7. Enter the new token and secret.
  8. In the Credential Expiry field, enter the new expiry date.
  9. Click Save Changes.
