CylanceHYBRID is deployed as a single instance that provides security protection to organizations with restricted Internet access. CylanceHYBRID secures communications between the Endpoint Defense cloud and your local infrastructure.  

CylanceHYBRID console

The Cloud-based CylanceHYBRID console allows you to view the version history, set certain configuration parameters (for example, set the number of Aurora Focus agents), perform troubleshooting steps, view license information and configuration yaml files of the Kubernetes pods, and deploy CylanceHYBRID app updates.

Devices with the Aurora Protect Desktop agent and Aurora Focus agent

The Aurora Protect Desktop agent and Aurora Focus agent must be installed on a device (endpoint) to protect the device. Aurora Protect Desktop and Aurora Focus support Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems.

The Aurora Focus agent deploys sensors to the device OS to monitor and collect data that is used to identify threats and trigger automated responses.
