Your risk score indicates how at risk your network environment is. The risk score is a weighted average of the scores of all unmitigated Medium, High, and Critical vulnerabilities within your network at a particular time. The risk score updates automatically when new risks are found, existing risks are mitigated or accepted, or when the Common Vulnerability Scoring System (CVSS) score for the existing risks change.
On the Home page, the Risk Score widget displays a number between 0.1 and 10, with 0.1 representing the lowest risk level:

A risk score is only available with the Arctic Wolf® Managed Risk and Managed Detection and Response (MDR) services:
- If an organization subscribes to MDR only, the risk score calculation is based on scheduled External Vulnerability Assessment (EVA) scans.
- If an organization has Managed Risk, either as a standalone subscription or in addition to other Arctic Wolf services, the risk score calculation is based on EVA scans, Internal Vulnerability Assessment (IVA) scans, and Agent scans.
- For more information about risk score calculations, see Risk score calculation.
- For more information about EVA and IVA scanning, see Managed Risk Scanner FAQ.
