Update framework elements

To update a Cyber Resilience Assessment, for one or more elements, provide information about specific factors that affect cyber resilience.

Note: The Cyber Resilience Assessment is designed to help you track the progress of your organization towards strengthening its security posture. Security posture improvements are an ongoing process, so an assessment is never truly complete. Arctic Wolf strongly recommends that you update the assessment on a recurring basis so that you can see changes to your security posture over time.
  1. Sign in to the Arctic Wolf Unified Portal.
  2. In the navigation menu, click Security Journey > Cyber Resilience Assessment.
  3. In the Manage Assessment widget, click Elements.
    Information about elements displays.
  4. Click View.
    All elements appear in a table. For information about each column, see Value calculation.
  5. Optional: Sort the list.
  6. Optional: Apply one or more filters.
    The filter options that appear depend on the cybersecurity framework you selected.
  7. Optional: Click next to an element to view additional information about the element, including a description and the assessment impact. The priority also displays for some frameworks.

  8. Optional: Click Columns and select the columns that you want to display.
    Note: Some columns are not displayed by default.
  9. For one or more elements, set a value for each cyber resilience factor.
    • To apply a single change — Click the currently set value, and then select another value.

      For example, click Needs Review and select Approved and Communicated.

    • To apply bulk changes — Select one or more checkboxes, click the column header for a cyber resilience factor, and select a value.
    Tip: At the end of the table, there is a summary of the impact of all unsaved changes to the assessment.
  10. Optional: Upload a file:
    1. Next to the element hat you want to upload a file for, click .
    2. Click Add Files.
    3. Click Click to upload and select the files that you want to upload.
      The files are uploaded into the corresponding folder for that group.
  11. Optional: Add a comment:
    1. Next to the element that you want to leave a comment for, click .
    2. Click Add Comments.
    3. Enter a comment.
    4. Click Send.
  12. Click Update Assessment.
