View scanners

  1. Sign in to the Arctic Wolf Unified Portal.
  2. In the navigation menu, click Data Collection > Scanners.
  3. Look at the Scanners table for this information about the scanners in your environment:

    Column

    Description

    Name

    The scanner name.

    Status

    The scanner status: Disconnected, Degraded, Awaiting Activation, Scanning, Idle, Connected, Not Available, Misconfigured, Disabled, New, Shipped, Preparing to Ship, or Staged.

    Product Type

    The type of scanner: Physical or Virtual .

    Upgrade Status The upgrade status of a device:
    • Pending — An upgrade is scheduled. The date that the upgrade is scheduled is displayed beside it.
    • In Progress — An upgrade is currently in progress.
    • Completed — An upgrade completed within the last 24 hours.
    • Failed — An upgrade recently failed. Arctic Wolf will contact you to determine how to proceed.
    • No Updates Pending — No upgrade is currently scheduled. The sensor is currently up to date.

    Version

    The version number of the scanner.

    IP Address

    The IP address of the scanner.

  4. Optional: Click the Arrows next to the column heading to sort the information by that criteria.
    A dark arrow indicates an active sort.
  5. Optional: Use the filters to refine the information that displays in the table.
