View scanner health

  1. Sign in to the Arctic Wolf Unified Portal.
  2. In the navigation menu, click Data Collection > Scanners.
The scanner health overview summarizes the health of your scanners based on these health categories:
  • Unhealthy — Indicates one of these scanner statuses:
    • Degraded — The scanner is connected but not working as intended. Contact your Concierge Security® Team (CST) at security@arcticwolf.com for troubleshooting assistance.
    • Disconnected — The scanner is not communicating with Arctic Wolf. Contact your CST at security@arcticwolf.com for troubleshooting assistance.
  • Needs Attention — The scanner status is Awaiting Activation. The scanner registration is complete. Open the Managed Detection and Response (MDR) Dashboard to activate this scanner.
  • Healthy — Indicates one of these scanner statuses:
    • Connected — The scanner is connected to Arctic Wolf®.
    • Scanning — The scanner is actively scanning your network.
    • Idle — The scanner is waiting for its next scheduled job.
  • In Progress — Indicates one of these scanner statuses:
    • Preparing To Ship — Your hardware is being configured and will ship soon.
    • Shipped — Your hardware has shipped.
    • New — The scanner profile was recently created. New profiles are subject to review.
