Linking to your company directory

You can configure Aurora Endpoint Security to synchronize with your company directory to simplify adding and managing users and groups. Connecting Aurora Endpoint Security to a company directory allows you to create user accounts by searching for and importing user data from the company directory. Users created through directory synchronization can be enabled for the Aurora Protect Mobile app, Gateway, and CylanceAVERT.

You can link to a company directory in two ways:

If you want to synchronize with Microsoft Entra ID, you can configure Aurora Endpoint Security to connect with it.
If you want to synchronize with an on-premises Microsoft Active Directory or LDAP directory, you must first install the BlackBerry Protect Connectivity Node to create a secure connection between Aurora Endpoint Security and your directory.

To link Aurora Endpoint Security to your company directory, perform the following actions:

	If you want to link to an on-premises company directory, install an BlackBerry Protect Connectivity Node.
	Depending on the type of directory you want to connect to, configure Aurora Endpoint Security to synchronize with Entra, or connect to a Microsoft Active Directory or LDAP directory.
	Add a directory group.
	Configure onboarding and offboarding.
	Configure directory synchronization schedules.
