Configure notification preferences

You can customize how notifications are delivered on the Notification Preferences page in the Arctic Wolf® Unified Portal, including delivery method, notification frequency, and more.

The notifications you receive depend on your user role and recipient lists, such as report recipients. All users in an organization receive global notifications from Arctic Wolf that are relevant to your organization, such as product updates. Notifications received through Unified Portal remain in the Notifications menu for 30 days.

Currently, only report notifications can be customized.

  1. Sign in to the Arctic Wolf Unified Portal.
  2. In the navigation menu, click Organization Profile > Notification Preferences.
  3. In the Delivery Method section, select the desired option.
    Note: Deselecting all delivery method options results in no notifications.
  4. In the Notification Frequency section, select the appropriate option to receive every notification as it occurs or as a daily digest sent at approximately 01:00 UTC.
  5. Optional: In the Subject Line Customization section, select the appropriate options in the the Prefix and Suffix menus to include the alert type, organization name, or other information.
    Note:

    • You can only set one prefix.

    • If you receive notifications through ITSM, the subject line could be truncated due to system limits.

    • If you are a Managed Service Provider (MSP), you can add the end-customer organization name to the subject line. Sign in to the Unified Portal as the end-customer and select the Organization name option in the Prefix or Suffix menu.

  6. Click Save Preferences.
