Reconfigure a vScanner using the Azure portal

You can reconfigure a virtual appliance by accessing the serial console from your virtual environment.

If the credentials for your appliance have changed, update them in the Arctic Wolf Unified Portal. For more information, see Update credentials for a cloud sensor.

Note: Arctic Wolf recommends completing all appliance configuration using the serial console. The serial console provides a consistent configuration experience for all physical and virtual appliances. New and re-imaged deployments support configuration using the serial console only.
  1. Sign in to the Microsoft Azure portal.
  2. In the Resources section, select the virtual machine.
  3. In the left navigation, click Serial console.
  4. When prompted, press Enter three times to initiate the serial console session.
  5. Change the required settings. For more information about editing values in the serial console, see Serial console.
