Reconfigure a vLC in a Hyper-V environment

You can reconfigure a virtual appliance by accessing the serial console from your virtual environment.

Note: Arctic Wolf recommends completing all appliance configuration using the serial console. The serial console provides a consistent configuration experience for all physical and virtual appliances. New and re-imaged deployments support configuration using the serial console only.
  1. Open the Hyper-V Manager.
  2. If the virtual appliance power is off, right-click your VM, and then select Start.
  3. Double-click the VM to bring up the console.
  4. When prompted, press Enter three times to initiate the serial console session.
