Rescan assets

You can rescan an individual asset or multiple assets at the same time.

  1. Sign in to the Risk Dashboard.
  2. In the navigation menu, click Assets.
  3. In the Asset Catalog table, select the checkbox of each risk to rescan.
  4. Click Rescan to add the asset to the scan queue.
    Tip:

    The Rescan button appears dimmed if you select an EVA source. EVA assets must be rescanned from the EVA page. For more information, see EVA page details.

  5. Optional: If a debug HTML report is needed, in the Rescan Assets dialog, click the Enable Debug Scan toggle to the on position.
    Note: Enabling debug scans increases resource consumption and scan time.
  6. Click Rescan again to confirm.
    Scans for online assets begin immediately. If an asset is offline, it is scanned when it comes back online. If an asset remains offline for over an hour, the scan is closed. For more information, see View Agent Scan Details.
