Federated authentication configurations

Federated authentication allows you to use your preferred OpenID Connect (OIDC) identity provider (IdP) to authenticate with Arctic Wolf® web portals. This gives your users a single sign-on (SSO) experience with your existing IdP. Additional login credentials for Arctic Wolf services are not required.

Using your IdP, you can also:

  • Manage passwords
  • Manage multi-factor authentication
  • Audit logins
Note: When you use your provider to authenticate with Arctic Wolf, enter your email to authenticate. You are not automatically signed in. You must enter your email whether you authenticate through the tile or the portal.

Arctic Wolf documentation includes configuration guides for these IdPs:

If your IdP is not listed, see Configure IdP federated authentication for Arctic Wolf web portals.

Tip: If you are an Aurora Endpoint Security (formerly Cylance) customer with access to the Arctic Wolf Unified Portal, you can access the Aurora Endpoint Defense console from the Unified Portal app launcher. For a seamless sign-on experience, consider using the same IdP for the Arctic Wolf Unified Portal and the Aurora Endpoint Defense console.
