Update credentials for federated authentication
If the credentials for your federated authentication configuration have changed, you can update them in the Arctic Wolf Unified Portal.
These resources are required:
- Administrator permissions for the Arctic Wolf Unified Portal.
You must be a primary or secondary contact. If you require this level of access, submit your request to a primary or secondary contact in your organization.
- If your credentials are:
- Still valid — Sign in to the Arctic Wolf Unified Portal.
- Expired and you have previously signed in with standard authentication — Go https://dashboard.arcticwolf.com/?federated-auth-recovery=1 and sign in with your username and password.
- Expired and you have not previously signed in with standard authentication — Go to https://dashboard.arcticwolf.com/?federated-auth-recovery=1 and click Forgot Password? to set up standard authentication here.
Note: Until federated authentication credentials are updated, you must continue to access the Unified Portal from https://dashboard.arcticwolf.com/?federated-auth-recovery=1.
- In the navigation menu, click .
- For the configuration that you want to update, click .
- Clear the Client Secret field, and then enter the new client secret.
- Click Update Credentials.
- To apply the configuration:
- When prompted to sign out of the Unified Portal, click Confirm and Logout.
- Sign in to the Unified Portal through your identity provider (IdP).
