Remove a tag from an asset

You can remove tags from assets if they are no longer needed.

Note: Tags do not synchronize between the Unified Portal and Risk Dashboard. For example, if you remove a tag from an asset in the Unified Portal , it is not removed from that asset in the Risk Dashboard.
  1. Sign in to the Arctic Wolf Unified Portal.
  2. In the navigation menu, click Data Collection > Assets.
  3. Do one of these actions:
    • To remove a tag from a single asset:
      1. For the asset to remove a tag from, in the Actions column, click > Edit Asset.
      2. In the Tags column, in the list, deselect each tag that you want to remove from the asset.
      3. Click Save.
    • To remove a tag from a single asset on the asset details page:
      1. For the asset to remove a tag from, in the Actions column, click View Asset.
      2. Click Edit Asset Details.
      3. For each tag to remove from the asset, in the Tags list, click a tag name.
      4. Click Save Changes.
    • To remove a tag from multiple assets:
      1. For each asset to remove a tag from, select the checkbox.
      2. Click Edit Asset.
      3. In the Edit Asset pane, click the Assign Tag tab.
      4. In the Tag Name list, clear the checkbox of each tag that you want to remove from the asset.
      5. Click Save Changes.

        The changes can take some time to appear. If needed, refresh your screen.
