Create exclusion rules to remove devices from the Assets page and prevent new assets matching these rules from being created exclude them . Associated risks are automatically resolved.
Note: Assets excluded using these rules can still be scanned. To exclude devices from appearing in
Internal Vulnerability Assessment (IVA) scans, see
Configure scan exclusions.

- In the navigation menu, click .
- Click Manage Asset Settings.
- Enter the IP addresses and sources that you want to exclude.
Tip:
- If you want to exclude DHCP or Active Directory (AD) sources entirely, you can set a rule to exclude the source.
- Each rule is processed individually, so only one of the rules needs to be true for a device to be excluded. If you want to define a set of rules that must all be true for a device to be excluded, click + Nested Group. For example, if you want to exclude devices from a specified IP range, but only if they are discovered through DHCP.
- Optional: Click Preview Rules Impact.
A list displays showing all assets that will be excluded using these rules.
- Click Save Settings.
- In the dialog, click Save Settings.
Existing assets that match the rules are removed from from the Assets table.
After saving your changes, wait five minutes before making any other changes to make sure that the rules are processed.
